IFES has launched a Bahasa Indonesia version of the book Resolution of Election Disputes: Legal Principles that Control Election Challenges, 2nd Edition by Barry Weinberg. This version includes a forward by the Chief Justice of the Indonesia’s Constitutional Court, Mohammed Mahfud. It is the first comparative election dispute resolution book of its type to be produced in Indonesia. It will be distributed to university law schools and other institutional partners.
The publication was presented in the evening of April 15, 2010. The event was attended by members of civil society organizations, political parties, academia, and it was covered by several media outlets. Bill Sweeney, IFES president and CEO, delivered a speech at the presentation.
