In 2011, the General Election Network for Disability Access (AGENDA) was established as a forum to improve access to political and electoral opportunities for people with disabilities in Southeast Asia through increased public awareness and advocacy for change.

Sudan Election Administration Support Program
From 2009-13 IFES implemented the “Sudan Election Administration Support Program” (SEASP) to support Sudan’s national electoral processes during the interim period called for by the 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), which marked the end of Sudan’s most recent civil war.

Manatt Fellow Presents on Election Dispute Resolution in Africa
In September 2019, IFES Manatt Fellow Tinashe Hofisi presented on presidential election petitions in Kenya, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe at the 14th Annual Symposium of the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa. He highlighted the unique jurisdictional tools available to apex courts in adjudication of presidential elections and their effect on judicial outcomes.
